Nairobi Guitar Festival (NGF) was founded with the purpose of promoting the guitar as the musical instrument of choice. The festival also aims to enhance value education on the instrument and to become a place which will gather some of the best guitarists (all genres) and guitar enthusiasts who will enjoy their performances and lectures. Our broad objective is to make this part of Eastern Africa the cultural and education center of the guitar by promoting excellence in musicianship, guitar literature & education.
NGF also aims to organize guitar summits, trainings, competitions, mini-concerts and seeks to develop cooperation with various institutions/organizations with similar interests in advancing music education especially on the guitar
